I hate school

I hate school.

What you might not know is that it hasn't always been this way. In undergrad, I loved school. I was good at it. I had good professors. I loved to learn. I wanted to learn everything and major in everything.

Then came UT.

Did I mention I hate school?

UT or accounting? I liked UT, but mainly because I could skip most of my classes and get away with it.

Well, my experience with the business department has been less than wonderful.

And in this grad program, you can't skip classes. They take attendance. And assign seats. And homework. And give ridiculous group projects. In grad school.

ah- I heard about the group projects. It sounds like kindy-garden rather than grad school. I guess you'll be free soon- I wish you could come and visit.

I felt this way when I was in law school - like it wasn't where I was supposed to be or what I was supposed to be doing.

I quit after two years.

I felt pretty much the same way about Seminary- a lot of busy work taking you away from what you were really interested in- but it's really kinda fun to be a drop out. or like in a Russian novel -the former seminarian-
