Update

I fully intended to blog a whole lot more often this week than I have. It just hasn't worked out that way.

This week I have been living in an unairconditioned apartment (come on, guys, how long does it take to replace the a/c - esp when it's nearly 90 in here!), tapping away at a borrowed computer (thanks Kate!), fighting with Dell - whom I thought I was going to buy a new computer from - and fighting with Microsoft because they ridiculously think that Kate stole their precious o/s.

I simply haven't had the energy to try to reassemble my bookmarks, etc, and do any internet reading. I have chosen instead not to make you suffer through reading about my "sufferings" this week (translation: I haven't used this blog as a forum for whining). But next week, when school starts, might be another matter....

I'd rather be blogging, but instead I'm living the computer-free life.

My third arm - Little Blue, the 3 year old Toshiba laptop - kicked the bucket.

Someone cooler than words can express has offered to let me borrow her extra laptop, but for now you'll have to forgive me for my silence. :-)
